the isles of scilly, on 120 film

back in september, we spent a few days in the isles of scilly—a kind-of-tropical archipelago a couple of hours’ boat ride off the coast of cornwall.

what a dreamy place.

if you’ve never been, it comes highly recommended from me.

Padstow harbour shot on 35mm film using a La Sardina camera

i am a big fan of cornwall and felt very hard done by when i recently realised it’s almost a year since my last visit. this is padstow harbour, shot on a sunny day in september 2012, just after i stuffed my face with a cornish pasty and just before i stuffed my face with clotted cream ice cream. yep, definitely need to book my next trip soon.

"SMILE" sand-writing in Cornwall, shot with La Sardina on 35mm film

moving on from my first post (& from my first roll, which is probably best learned-from then forgotten), here’s a shot from roll #2, taken in cornwall on my birthday last september. happiness is sunshine, seafood, & the feeling of sand squishing between your toes.
